Final England U18 Women’s Squad Announced

The final England Under-18 Women’s squad for the Division B European Championships has been announced as they prepare to head to Finland for their final warm-up games after their three day camp at the weekend.

“Having just finished our final home camp we are eager to get back to competition in what will be our last preparation games this year,” said Head Coach LEe Ryan.

“I think we took some really important steps forward last weekend in identifying players and systems that have worked for us to this point and maximising our strengths. We are a high energy group and I feel the players finally understand the importance of this and know what it means to play a high tempo game.

“The players continue to impress me with their commitment to new challenges, this will prove an important trait when we are in competition. They have embraced their roles and we are pretty close to being competition ready. I am expecting Finland to give us the final push to becoming the strong team on and off the court that can cause a stir in this year’s Division B competition.”
