Cheridene Green will begin her pro career in Poland next season after signing with Gorzow, it was confirmed this month.
The University of Tennessee graduate helped GB’s Senior Women on a historic run to fourth place at the recent FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019.
Green gave Coach Chema Buceta a key inside presence off the bench with the 23-year-old averaging 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game, whilst hitting the headlines with an incredible hustle play.

Gorzow went 14-10 in the regular season, but produced an impressive run to the playoff finals before losing 3-0 to CCC Polkowice – featuring Temi Fagbenle and Jo Leedham-Warner.
They earned a spot in this season’s EuroCup Women with Green the latest Brit to play in the competition after they were paired with Brno of Czech Republic, Neve David Ramla from Israel and a qualifier.
Check out our recent feature with Green as she looks back on her basketball career so far, prior to EuroBasket.
