Eilidh Simpson has signed for SV Halle in Germany for the upcoming 2020-21 season, the club has announced.
The GB Senior guard makes the move from Czech side Ostrava having averaged 13.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in 14 league appearances.
“I’m grateful for another opportunity to live and play in another country,” said Simpson, via official release. “A new coach and new players are always exciting and I can’t wait. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Halle fans.”
Simpson sustained an injury midway through the campaign and was forced to miss GB’s Olympic qualifying tournament in Belgrade, Serbia in February as a result.
The 27-year-old began her pro career with successive seasons in Spain before spending a year in the WBBL with Cardiff Met Archers.
Halle had a 4-17 record last season, but avoided relegation from the top-flight as the league was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
