Temi Fagbenle has signed for Italian side Reyer Venezia for the 2020-21 season, the club announced this morning.
The 27-year-old played in Spain alongside GB team-mate Karlie Samuelson last season with the duo helping Perfumerias Avenida to the domestic Cup title – averaging 7.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in six league games after joining from Botas.
“I am very happy to be part of Reyer and I am looking forward to working with my new team-mates,” said Fagbenle via official release. “I had the pleasure of traveling around Italy and it was such a beautiful experience that I knew I had to go back to stay longer.”
Fagbenle helped GB to a historic run to fourth place at EuroBasket Women 2019 and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team before repeating the feat in the Olympic Qualifiers earlier this year.
The WNBA champion has opted out of a return to the States for the upcoming season and will once again be playing at a high level in Europe.
