Karlie Samuelson makes a return to the GB Senior Women’s squad as the final 12 was confirmed ahead of next week’s final FIBA EuroBasket Women 2021 qualifier.
The sharpshooter missed out on the November window, but is back to help GB look to qualify with Chantel Charles also returning, while Shequila Joseph earns a call-up to the squad.
Hannah Shaw, Sammy Roscoe and Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee are the three players to drop out from the squad that defeated Poland to boost qualifying hopes.
There is still no place for Holly Winterburn amongst the Senior setup, despite playing a key role in the dominant form of Leicester Riders in the WBBL this season.
GB face Belarus on February 4th with a 32-point victory needed to guarantee qualification by winning the group, though any win may be enough and they could possibly advance even in defeat.
