Temi Fagbenle wins Italian playoffs Championship with Reyer Venezia

Temi Fagbenle has helped Reyer Venezia to the playoffs Championship in Italy to add to her growing collection of silverware.

The GB star scored 11 points and added 16 rebounds as her side clinched a 3-2 victory in the Finals with a 72-58 triumph, on Sunday evening.

Venezia had led 2-0 in the series against Schio before falling to a one-point loss in Game 3 on the road on Tuesday, despite a big comeback, and another defeat on Thursday..

Fagbenle became a WNBA champion with Minnesota Lynx in 2017 and is also a two-time playoffs winner in Poland with CCC Polkowice having also won a Spanish Cup title with Karlie Samuelson last season.

Venezia won the Italian Supercup at the start of the season and were also runners-up in EuroCup this season as they suffered an agonising defeat against Valencia in the final.

Next season, Fagbenle will play with Kristine Anigwe for Turkish side Curukova.
