Great Britain star Temi Fagbenle is preparing for a breakout Junior Year with Harvard, building upon her unanimous vote Ivy League Rookie of the Year award last season.

The 6’4″ forward, who also made the 2012-13 All-Ivy League second team, and earned 12 Ivy League weekly awards (2 Player of the Week, 10 Rookie of the Week), averaged 12.3 points last year, along with leading the team in both rebounds per game with 7.7, blocks per game and an impressive 57.8% field goal percentage.

In this preview video of the coming season, Harvard Head Coach Kathy Delaney-Smith, reiterates how high their hopes are for her.

“Temi is healthier than she’s ever been and is very versatile,” she said. “We’ve changed our system a little bit to capitalise on some of the things she can do; she can go to the basket, she can post up, she does some nice things at the high post and perimeter area.

“Again, she’s gonna be the star that we were all hoping she will be.”
